Today is Monday, May 14, the 134th day of 2018.
On May 14, 1948, according to the current-era calendar, the independent state of Israel was proclaimed in Tel Aviv by David Ben-Gurion, who became its first prime minister; U.S. President Harry S. Truman immediately recognized the new nation.
Today May 14, 2018 the USA is opening the new American Embassy in Jerusalem. What a way to celebrate the 70thyear of the nation of Israel.
We are living in a sobering moment in history that calls us, as saints of Jesus Christ, to take a stand with Israel. We are living in an evil day and hour and could be the people of the last hour. We are not to be passive in this day of prophecy; we are called to pray with passion, to intercedeand to minister according to the words of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who said it is not our task to speculate when the end will be. As a Christian Nation, it is our responsibility to do Kingdom business until Jesus comes again.
This is not just about politics; this is all about the Word of God, but the political ramifications are extremely dramatic in these actions today. Scripture declares there will come a time when all the nations of the world will turn against Israel. It is so highly conceivable this could happen in our time that it is critical to outline why we should stand with Israel today.
